My name is Ivan Sousa, and my journey to building MAX Global Services LLC started long before I ever imagined becoming a business owner. I was born and raised in Brazil, where hard work, discipline, and resilience were part of everyday life. Those early experiences shaped who I am and taught me to keep pushing forward no matter the challenge.

When I came to the United States, I carried those same values with me. I worked through every obstacle – learning the language, adapting to a new culture, and building a new life from the ground up.

I joined the United States Army as a 92F Petroleum Supply Specialist. Serving my new country gave me purpose and direction, and earning my U.S. citizenship while serving in uniform was one of the proudest moments of my life. My job required precision, responsibility, and the ability to perform under pressure. Whether refueling aircraft, supporting convoys, or maintaining fuel systems, I learned how to operate in high-stress environments and how to keep missions moving no matter what was happening around me.

During deployment, I experienced situations that changed me – including bomb attacks on our base and long days working under dangerous conditions. Those moments taught me resilience, discipline, and leadership. They also taught me how to stay calm, organized, and committed to the mission.

After returning home, I decided to take everything I learned – from Brazil, from the Army, and from my own personal challenges – and build something meaningful. That's how MAX Global Services LLC was born.

At the same time, I wanted to continue growing professionally, so I began studying Construction Management. This field connects perfectly with my military experience: logistics, planning, safety, operations, and leadership. My education helps me expand MAX Global Services LLC with the same discipline and attention to detail I learned in uniform.

Today, my company reflects the values that shaped my life: integrity, hard work, commitment to excellence, and respect for every client.

MAX Global Services LLC is more than a business – it's the result of a lifetime of dedication, sacrifice, and growth. My goal is simple: deliver reliable, professional services with the same discipline and focus that guided me from Brazil to the United States, from soldier to business owner, and now as a Construction Management student building the future.

MAX Global Services LLC is a service-disabled veteran-owned small business (SBA VetCert in progress) based in Fayetteville, North Carolina, minutes from Fort Bragg. We serve federal, state and local government agencies, prime contractors and commercial property managers throughout Southeastern North Carolina. We accept the Government Purchase Card, pursue veteran set-asides, micro-purchases and subcontracting/teaming, and we respond fast and finish the job right the first time.
